Hello, I'm Nat Forés and I like art
I currently work in digital illustration, painting and 2D animation.
I have been working in editorial and children’s illustration, graphic design and animation since 2018.
Vision
«Once I studied, in a little book of weeds, things only I know and will never forget.»
I like observing everyday life, and I am a little nostalgic. In my drawings I give priority to gesture, subjective colour and texture, to capture something beyond appearances.
I find a kind of magic in ordinary corners — a fragment of a garden, an old book, pets.
I believe that leaving a record of small things is an act of resistance against the growing speed of the world. It is rescuing what is fleeting in our time and place and turning it into a testimony of our lives.
Art is a refuge.
Education
I studied art history, 2D animation and graphic design, and I am currently taking the degree in arts management and production at the University of Buenos Aires. I have also taken courses in photography, comics, screen printing, ceramics and painting.
